Visit Hull & East Yorkshire Tourism Partnership
Visit Hull & East Yorkshire (VHEY) is the new Destination Management Organisation (DMO) for the Yorkshire sub-region. VHEY was formed from a partnership between Yorkshire Forward, East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Hull City Council.
Having a DMO minimises duplication, better sells the region and gives power for local promotion to a local tourism body.
The main objective of VHEY is to increase visitor spend in Hull and East Yorkshire by 5% over a four year period.
Key priorities include developing product in terms of quality and quantity, developing and investing in local businesses, and marketing tourism in the Hull & East Yorkshire area.
Activities focus around visitor promotion and management, destination awareness and building the quality of the destination.
